FRIENDSHIP CLUB: AGES 6-8 YEARS

Focuses on developing friendships and understanding social expectations. Perspective taking and flexibility in interactions with peers is addressed. Labeling a problem, offering choices and understanding the emotions of self and others lays the foundation for more advanced conflict resolution. Self-regulation skills evolve to remain age appropriate and focus in peer situations.

FRIENDSHIP BUILDERS: AGES 8-10 YEARS

Expansion of age appropriate leisure activities is addressed as well as conflict resolution, perspective taking and social expectations. Continued focus on building age appropriate self-regulation skills as well as learning appropriate times and places to use skills. Executive functioning skills such as planning and organizing interactions with friends is addressed.
